Prasadam, human hair from tax at Tirupati temple... Human hair at the Tirupati temple is also exempted from GST... However, NO EXEMPTION is given to inputs used for making prasadam such as sugar, vegetable edible oils, ghee, butter, service for transportation of these goods that attract GST. ISKCON, and other religious institutions are NOT SELLING Prasadam and/or food... It is a matter of belief for the devotees.... Therefore, religious institutions/societies DO NOT HAVE to take permission from concerned Ministries, register for GST, and product testing /selling licences... more  

A suggestion that we should purchase only certified food and why dragg ISKON. If any one including ISKON does not follow the rule of the land then best way is come out (close) of that activity. Why expect special status. Also, why law enforcement agencies should ignore any body's misdeeds ? Name has no meaning one's inappropriate action(s) should have a meaning when enforcement is concerned. It is not clear why educated people get in to sentiments where science has a role in deciding the safety of the product for wellbeing of the consumer ? more
