How the government of any country (developed or developing) can compromise with the health and hygiene of its citizens ? We should draw immediate attention of the concerned government agencies towards this irregularities and ask them to implement strictly all health and hygiene related provisions as also other provisions related to the interests of the citizens. They should also look into the scope of corruptions involved in allowing relaxations to the manufacturers of eatables by compromising with public health. more
mnc abide by global stds in their countries like in europe and usa but when they come to developing markets and third world countries they bring substandard products at the cost of our health and since our fssai and govt are not strict to catch them so they escape doing what they want to do.They would not even dream of doing such a thing in europe or usa where if they do such an act they may go bankrupt .Our laws are not strict and they lobby with the govt and we the citizens and our children suffer because of this more
Let FSSAI examine and take corrective action. more
They are unable to take any legal action against the defaulting firm to whom they had issued their certificates. "Go to Consumer Court" is all they say. more
FSSAI is toothless. It only issues certificates to manufacturers at a price. They don't take any customer/consumer complaints seriously more
As per "Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011" it is mandatory to print all the ingredient on all pack of edible/consumable commodity more
Who is responsible for enforcing these rules. more
