Misleading Real Icecream label on Frozen Desserts
Consumers need to highlight Frozen Desserts containing vegetable fat being passed on as Real Icecream to unsuspecting customers by so many manufacturers across India. Even if frozen Dessert is specified, it is on the back of the label/pack in very small fonts which are hardly visible. While the logo of the product is such that Real Icecream is a part of the logo design. Authorities need to take a note of such inferior quality products sold to customers as icecreams and consumers need to become more discerning and highlight such cases in different geographies. more

Our land once known for its morale value & honesty has apparently become a safe zone for all the ghaplabaz(miscreants & dishonest) and majority of the traders are immoral and want to make money through cheating the consumers. People of the respective government agencies deployed to guard against all kind of food adulteration are practically working as subscribers to the sinful activities of the dishonest trading community to fulfil their lust for money. Will our government ever awake and initiate all possible steps to ensure quick end of these people? However, as responsible citizens of the country, we must review our roles and duties to fight back against such evils of the society instead of depending on the government for each and everything. more

It was this very same AMUL which won a case in the court that theirs is the Real Ice Cream and others sold by competitors are in fact frozen desserts which include brominated vegetable oil. It just goes to prove that the management is driven by profit motive and service comes secondary. more
