Mobile charges
Dear Sirs,
The mobile service providers offer bundled prepaid and postpaid plans. Most of public could not use the offers fully due to various impractical terms. I suggest the following method for benefits to customers like me.

The service providers are charging customers under fixed prepaid and postpaid plans. They are able to evaluate the consumption of each customer iñ their system.
In the above circumstances , it is possible to charge the customers according to consumption like electricity. They can fix a per GB/ per SMS/ per call consumption charge and charge according to the usage by customer. Thus over-charging and charging without usage, complicated prepaid and postpaid plans etc can be eliminated.
This will be of real saving to customers.

The bottom-line is ….someone already mentioned....use the annual prepaid plan...cheapest....detailed costing / research is useless as it will not give us the actual picture unless you know all incidental expenses(!!)…force them by global benchmarks....say energy use per tower, etc. more

Actually upfront spectrum charges are part of investment from Companies. This cost may be inbuilt as done by medicine manufacturers towards unit charges. Manufacturing involves approval, testing, licence and royalty charges for medicines. These are inbuilt in the retail price of medicines. Electricity suppliers collect a fixed deposit to cover average consumption The unit cost may be worked out for data, call and SMS and approved by govt from time to time. They may charge the customers according to consumption of each customer instead of vague and abnormal recovery without any basis more

And who pays for the upfront spectrum fees charged by the govt....??? You probably know the amount!!!! more

In all issues pointed out the target group is in the affordable category. They also think that paying more will be beneficial to them and their children. They do not get returns for the amount spent by them. Thus these are also to reformed by us. Coming to mobile usage the target group is not that strata alone. All sections poorest of poor are also using the connectivity. In the above circumstances, deceiving us without benefits is not justified. Let us fight for justice in all issues narrated. more

All bundled services should be removed from each of the plans and plan prices be re-fixed only for free calls, data and a reasonable no. of daily messages. Offering 100 free messages per day and fixing the prices upwards has no justification as 99.99% consumers do not do that. The prices of each plan should be brought down accordingly. more
