MRP loots are rampant and legal metrology sleeping
Kindly raid Narayana Health of Devi Shetty and his son Viren Shetty company Amaryllis healthcare.
Amaryllis is supplying PPE kits to narayana health hospital chain by manipulating MRPs and profiteering and patients are being billed. On the same kit 2 mrps.
One with MRP 750 and other with MRP 4000. Isnt this dual MRP punishable under law. Attached.
If You cant act legal metrology on this info then better shut your Department and save tax payer money. more

Like other businesses, the sole motive of Hospitals and doctors is greed for money. To fleece customers they recommend unnecessary tests, create false bills and manipulate MRPs as pointed out by Shirisha Kumar. "Nothing is lost when wealth is lost, something is lost when health is lost and everything is lost when the character is lost" Now things are quite opposite. There are political leaders, bureaucrats and even judges ready to sell even the country. more

Dear Madam, While the matter needs investigation, it doesn't call for brash statements. As already pointed out by Mr. Jayakumar Daniel, they are different products. They are also made by different manufacturers. Thus, likelihood of different price is not entirely ruled out. But at the same time, as stated by him, such a large variation without any valid reason should certainly be actionable by State Health officials. These types of manipulations usually happen only in highly corrupt, lawless, indisciplined, disorganised and wretched countries like India where judiciary too is spineless and works without application of mind. Honest citizens simply cannot do anything except take up the law into own hands and indulge in mass public lynching of the culprits. more

Unless there is a proper law on the upper limit for fixing the MRP wrt the ex-factory selling price, the whole MRP regime is open for exploitation. Also, in retail, how can any one give 70 to 80% off? more
