Not Mild
The third wave is brutal on children. My 6 year old nephew has not moved since day before yesterday. High fever and no appetite, debilitating weakness and vomiting. So let us PLEASE not dismiss this wave as mild. This is just the beginning.

As per the behaviour of the latest version of the virus named Omicron observed so far, it is apparently mild in comparison to the earlier ones. However, it is never and nowhere suggested that one should compromise with the laid down Covid protocols. Covid protocols stand to be meticulously complied with until the virus is completely washed out from the globe. more

The public health guidelines have to be followed 1.Its mutation can be in any person and in any place. 2.Use mask,wash hands ,remove work/ market dress etc.3.We have to remember/ after the pandemic- Epidemic and then seasonal diseases can or may happen. Safety is important more

True Ms.SK. Stats says that unvaccinated are likely to get severe symptoms. Probably the Child isn't protected yet with Vaccination. The attachment says Don't poo poo Omicron as Commo Cold. more

Any amount of comments in these columns will not help until and unless the people themselves realize the importance of wearing clean masks, maintaining social distancing, not mingling with people, not washing hands and not going out unnecessarily. These Viruses have not of self respect. They will not come to you until and unless they are invited. more
