ONGC is having lots of corruption
ONGC is a difficult organisation to do business with. If u are a contractor they try to find unnecessary deficiencies in your work as a way for them to extract money.
The employees are paid well but still such greed by many ONGC employees. The poor MSME on the receiving end.
What can be done to systemically solve this. Other psus have this termite of corruption too. more

A study on all level corruption in India was made in New Zealand in the recent past. The study was basically to identify the reasons for existence of all level corruptions in India for decades. Among various reasons, it was pointed out that the acceptance of corruptions and corrupt people by the Indian societies plays a major role in nurturing and promoting corruptions. It was also pointed out that the tendency of shameless demonstration of unaccounted wealth earned through corrupt practices and dominating the society by virtue of wealth earned in illegal ways and acceptance such domination by the societies ultimately promote corruptions. It is not only ONGC but corruption is everywhere in the country and a change in the government in the centre did not make a difference. more

Whether salary is paid handsomely or not, the employees culture in India will not change, unless strict vigilance is enforced. The CBI and Income Tax Officials, who are empowered to enforce are also corrupt. more

every govt dept over the years have made corruption as a way of life and since we otherwise have to apply so many leaves to get any work done so inspite of not agreeing in principle try to resist for some days but ultimately as time progesses when we see the files not moving and gets stuck up try to compromise unless the top boss takes this task on his hand and gives a stern warning then only this will be eradicated more
