Personal hygiene n food items safety
Roadside tea ,snacks n vegetable, fruit vendor's personnels hygiene n cleanliness. It is observed that many times the food inspectors raid the restaurents , destroys the unhealthy food items n fine them as well. But unfortunately no checking of health n personal hygiene of the workers or staff might have ever carried out n any standards are prescribed by FSSAI.
Particularly the road side vendors. People men or women who sales all good stuffs , ready to eat, tea,coffee, vegetables ,also needs to attend natural calls, where they might be getting relieved n there after, whether they wash their hands properly or not!
There are some instances when some of such vendors were suffering with skin disease like Eczema infected hands legs are using same hands to weigh n sale such products
Many of them are eating tobaccos ,using same hands putting it in their mouth, touching their hairs often, hardly wear clean washed clothes, n we all Jolly well buy all such stuff from them ,never bother about it at all. We talked lot about many contentious disease getting spread by contacts, the recent ongoing issue of corona virus calamity, still are we having any such concern.
Many states n cities are having street vendors policy but I don't think any mention about their health n hygienic conditions a word might have been mentioned therein.
It is suggested n requested to one n all to highlight these issues n our FSSAI will also immediately issue some notification regarding this on urgent basis.
Even the local authorities should also make the street vendors about the potential health hazards of it. Not only in their own interest but for the customers as well. more

Educate, vendors on the ill effects of the ingredients they use like oil, sugar, salt and other basics Identify and Recommend the best products. Warn them the brands that are sub standard. Inform and request them to follow hygiene more

Most of them are poor and probably can not afford much for personnel hygiene.Another thing is probably sanitation condition around them are also poor. more
