Thanks for developng this system of rating FSSAI . Will that also be for the irctc catering , storage of food , disposal etc . more
@FSSAI: I think users/buyers can alwayz provide their feedback/views and rate accordingly in the existing features provided by Local Circle without waiting for a formal system being introduced by FSSAI. Such rating can be seen by the perspective buyers before they decide to buy any particular brand products. more
It's important to give Rating to all eatable centers. BMMC already started it in early70's or earlier and accordingly food items price and other charges are fixed. There is also regular inspection of hygenic issues and quality of food. New Delhi has made an attempt in this regard ,may be late but it's a good attempt. Let's wish it's implemented as early as possible and there is a good vigilance on practice adopted by the restaurants. Similarly rating may be thought of various food items are sold by the retailers, fixing the price so there will be less opportunity to fleece the consumers. more
Dear Ms Sarita, Thanks for initiating this subject for discussion. FSSAI is developing a system for rating of restaurants on the basis of hygiene. This rating will be cumulative of consumer rating and audit rating by FSO. This however is in very native stage and we will share more details on the subject as the things move on. more
