Thailand/Malaysian candies

All kinds of candies (with diff pricepoints) are available india now, esp at petrol stations. Some of them have unsafe additives and Many people are buying them and giving them as goodies in kids parties , etc. most are not even vegetarian and many have gelatin. Even mrp put on it is without basis as its put by importer. They have no fssai tage

How can anyone sell candies without checks and balances and fssai certification. more

Mr.Parthasarthy MA, M/s Sarita S has mentioned about Candies and not the candles. Any imported eatable should not be sold at small shops and have full control of FSSI.These become toxic when get expirerd,or even if stored in hot or exposed to sun and with the result the small and innocent kids have to suffer. more
There should be Quality check on imported items also. more
The ancient Indian tradition of lighting oil lamps is the most environment friendly practice. It is only recently that candles have started replacing oil lamps, perhaps due to convenience. Using candle for birthday parties is also very un-Indian. more
To be very precise there are items not certified by fssai. Govt. is aware of this, but they are blind eye, to the product that are available and consumed, since the population is so huge in this it is unable to estimate what is happening. more
First all let me say that fast food which are not healthy has become a part and parcel educated and western culture followers. This can be curtailed on individual basis. Seeing is believing. same way experience should make the people educative. But owing to the details and available resources one is tend to have fake food. It is time to follow Indian type of food. Try a chance. more
