There is high level of corruption where there is corruption at the political level. Here is how it works. In AP now all licences and renewals are online and there are also designated private agencies that do the work. If you go to a private agency to upload the details they will charge you anywhere to almost 700 rupees extra for the same work, since a cut goes to the transport department. They will not give you any bill or receipt for the same. Your application will be processed faster. more

it is not happening in one state , EVERY STATE it is happening ,even after paying we have to wait for very long period to get the documents more

Corruption at all levels is deep rooted in India, which can't be completely eradicated by the government alone. In fact we as individuals and our societies have the greater responsibility in this regard. Until we stop superseding others and getting through out of the way without complying rules by shelling out some extra money and our societies stop glorifying the corrupts and their families, corruption is likely to stay. Only criticizing and accusing the government in the matter won't help. more

Yes I noticed, even I made a petition, but nobody wants to correct it by signing the petition and forwarding to department for the action. 3000 signature required, but our local circle having nearly 60000 members, even though 3000 not reached. Means educated people don't want to correct it. So what about others????? more

Still corruption exist in transport department. If you pay money no test taken, with in few days you wil get DL. more

This is the same story in all states and in all govt depts where money is involved.People talk of transparency and corruption eradication but it is only on paper and ground realities are different nothing moves otherwise more
