Uttar Pradesh Corruption
The state of affairs in Uttar Pradesh has drastically deteriorated. For businesses, one has to pay bribes from top to bottom when it comes to officers to get anything done. Rates vary between 20,000 to 10 Lakhs.
5 years ago, if one took care at the top, work would be done and no more bribes. Now one pays off at all levels and still work doesnt get done.
So corruption and inefficiency unlimited. Unless the CM and his folks wake up and start taking action on this, they will have a difficult time coming back to power.
If transprency intl can do something on this, they must.
Not sure if any other state is like this. more

Allow the corruption to spread like wild fire and the government will automatically be the victim. more

such alarming situations persist in large areas telling that corruption shall stay. Due deliberations and strong measures are needed for restoration of normalcy,otherwise while improving in many spheres India shall go down on certain economic and ethical fields. And this may lead to further overall deterioration of normal life. more
