Would anyone be having any home remedy for tonsillitis too ?? I have a VERY delicate throat especially in humid weather and any my tonsils flare up very easily....have been having Septillin for long periods but once I stop having it...the problem comes back within weeks....gargling with hot salt water also helps but is a real pain.....would be really thankful for any home remedy as I avoid antibiotics at all costs.... more

Treatment- a. Steam inhalation, b. Warm saline gargles, c. Plenty of fluids, d. Hot soups, e. Antipyretics as and when required, f. Plenty of rest. Avoid smoking, it makes you more vulnerable. Get enough sleep more  
ACHYUT. PLEASE SEE ABOVE WHAT I HAVE TOLD NIDDHI. IF TONSILS ARE CONSTANTLY TROUBLING YOU GET THEM OUT. I GOT THEM OUT WHEN I WAS 25. more  
try taking a cup of hot water with 1/2 a lemon juice and 1 tsp. honey and 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder every day. more

try regular saline gargles 4 times daily more
