Except Bihar and Odisha, all state Govts under influence of rich real estate lobby have diluted the central RERA law, so do not except much benefits for comsumers. more  

RERA has been notified by 13 states so far. Many BJP led states are yet to adopt the same in their own states. we should all impress upon our local leaders and national leaders to see that these provisions are made universal more  
Both Bihar & Odisha do not have BJP in power in their states...at one point of time Bihar had the Lalu influence...Odisha still has Patnaik's charm and influence working on majority which though not giving RERA like advantage...promises are made by many but only few keep them. more  
Respected all according to RERA no one can misuse their rights and to stop buy house to those people for whom MODI JI is trying level best to give them a shelter. It is my request to everyone that every step those who applied for same category " THEIR ALL DOCUMENTS PROVIDED BY THEM TO GOVT . AGENCY HAS TO VERIFY BEFORE HANDOVER THE POSITION . EVEN AFTER GIVING THEM POSITION ALSO SUDDEN VISIT AND SHOULD VERIFY ABOUT THE FAMILY. " It is happening many states of country , those who is having their own house and got GOVT. ACCOMMODATION ALSO, given to rent those GOVT. ACCOMMODATION. With help of LOCAL POLICE AND AGENTS they got the information before hand and they make shifted their tenants for one or two days to somewhere else. It should stop immediately. Definitely without help of DEPARTMENT PEOPLE it is not possible. When people means authority or department people are coming for visit that information is providing to ALLOTTED PEOPLE BY SOME DEPARTMENT PEOPLE ONLY THROUGH AGENTS. That is SECONDARY INCOME for those department people. more
