There seems to be a total lack of Customer Care Services at Aircel, Madurai.
About a dozen or so of my complaint emails over the past few months regarding wrong billing and other deficiency of services remain unanswered.
Are there other members in this Circle who have experienced similar problems? Could we join together and fight this company? more

Not only Aircel but almost all telecom companies do what they want with the blessings of their governinging body i.e. Union Govt. of Communications. Having connection of IDEA in Meerut with average billing below Rs.800.00 monthly, I was shocked to receive bill YESTERDAY for over Rs.5000.00. On getting the details it was pointed out that inflation was due to GPRS, whereas during the said period I was overseas and thanks I have not taken global roaming facility. Let's see what happen to my complaint for this bogus bill. more
There is NO ONE including Telecom Minister to look into the grievances of the consumers, rather they are shielding the officials under them who may be best source of income for them. I had a BSNL connection phone for exclusive use of Broad Band at business premises with monthly bill for several years being less than Rs.1000.00 but suddenly inflated bill for over Rs.15000.00 was served. On going through the detail it was pointed out that the meter showed the reading being used after mid night. After getting the connection disconnected in Dec.2014, the bill for the following month hiked to over Rs.23000.00 Inspite of complaints at all levels there is no one to look into the problems rather not verifying the facts turning down the complaint at Union Govt. level as I never tried to grease their palm. more
Airtel and other Service Providers lack sense of consumer-care, after sale service. Report to TRAI and they reply saying that they do not handle individual complaints but fail to appreciate what the individual complains is something not of an 'individual' but collective complaints sent by individuals. The Department of Telecommunication should look into the working of consumer-care services of these Service Providers under supervision of the Consumer Affairs Ministry. more
BENL resolves the issue immediately if the complaint is lodged in person at the accounts section. Airtel responses better through Email. Basically there may not be much issues with the cellular service providers, except for the connectivity and call drops. Cell phone uses sometime by ignorance would have activated few or several services, this normally happens and happened with me too. Better the concerned check activation of special services first before lodging a complaint and then visit the service provider to resolve the issue if exists. more
My experience with DOKOMO n Vodafone was also alike. They care for only high remunerative customers. All that u can do is, switch over to BSNL suggested by Mr. Bakasubramanyam S. Stop recharging with Aircell n keep using until u exhaust the balance at ur credit if prepaid n for inward calls, whereafter u can throw their SIM card, winding up. more
