10 minute deliveries

there is this new concept that has emerged as a business
model launched by delivery apps, whether they are food or grocery or any other type of aggregators..delivery in 10 mins etc,for which they have established dark stores.in fact one of the aggregators also changed their name to blinkit..
very recently i read a post in one of the mobile apps by a citizen as to how physically exhausted the delivery person was, working in this kind of environment.
i happened to talk to one of such delivery resource at a traffic signal in south chennai.the person was literally frustrated with this kind of model.but can't do anything about it because he has to earn.
this model should be immediately abolished and the government should do whatever it can,for the following reasons:
1.it is physically demanding on the delivery resource.
2.our traffic conditions do not permit this kind of driving on the roads for 10 minute delivery.as it is we find the normal delivery resources driving dangerously and placing other road users at great risk..added to this the express delivery system only increases the risk factor.
the selfish and greedy people who run this kind of delivery channels would do well to withdraw this system immediately taking into account the people and physical environment. more

I have not yet come across any such delivery claim in Visakhapatnam but it is no wonder that it is seen in Chennai. All unnatural and peculiar things are likely to have origin there but other southern states will emulate sooner than later to catch up with it. The stringent schedules for delivery must be discouraged and even punished, if only in certain cases. more
A concept for fast earning & the customers also take advantage of late delivery. Its the delivery boy who suffers more
I too feel that the delivery boys tend to drive rash to meet their deadlines thereby putting themselves and others in danger. This practice must be discouraged. more
Yes, it is forcing people to commit suicide to make a living! The government should step in and public should boycott such services! more
In this quick fix delivery system, delivery persons drive their vehicle at a high speed without observing normal traffic rules of overtaking, endangering not only their own life but of other road users too. Govt. may introduce compulsory insurance for such delivery persons by their employers more
