1.25% charges on online payment bt debit Cards

It is very unfortunate that one has to shell out 1.25% as charges for online payment by debit Cards, that is, for paying his own money in the bank unlike credit card. If one draws money from ATM and pay, this can be avoided. But, non availability from ATM is causing this additional burden.
First of all, any charges for payment by Debit Card should be stopped and past debits should be refunded, as the payment is against available funds and not on credit. RBI and Govt. should issue necessary instructions to stop such charges for all times. more

To my knowledge there are no charges for debit card payments as it is direct debit in your account. The charges mentioned by you are applicable to Credit card payments as in this case you enjoy a period as you are required to make payment once in the month on the determined date. more
Now I need some inputs on EPPB to be introduced from 1st april 2017. whilst it is totally a very good move to weed out all Benami holders, genuine owners should not be put into difficulty. If they are abroad, the close blood relation (viz) parents and or F-in-law by a Power of attorney be allowed to complete the whole exercise. Now leave it to the forum. more
