Action on our complaint against dominos

Looks like the anti profiteering dept seems to be taking our complaints seriously.

Vinita Agarwal ji they seem to have acted on your complaint against Dominos Pizza.

I read on cnbc that dominos has been booked. I feel many other restaurants have also not changed prices despite reduction of rates from 18% to 5%

Even if itc was 4-5% still every restaurant should have lowered prices by 8%. No one has. more

If dominos has been booked, the news should have been on first page of news paper. So that others wo are doing so should stop looting common public at the cost of GST introduction. Local circle may like to inform CBEC to give press note. more
It was expected that the prices at Restaurants should have fallen by about 10% or so on post implementation of GST. In one of the case, I have substantiated a cliam that instead of reducing the prices, a Restaurants had increased the prices in the range of 20 to 30% and The National Anti-Profiteering Authority has not taken any action for the past more than 10 months or so despite substantiating with calculations and the menu card pre and post GST. more
There are two rights that a consumer shouldn't forget when it comes to indescrete Profiteerin by the Greedy and exploiting the gullible who fall for the Tall claims for the advertisements : * Immediate one make a complaint with documents . * Next stop visiting the trader and if you are sure about profiteering inform through various avenues to your near and dear ones , friends, relatives . * Third and most important stop visiting patronizing that utlet. Let them feel the pain of peoples judgement and come back to earth . Make the word CUSTOMER IS THE BOSS meaning ful. The ones who want to stay exclusive let them go and give all the profit that the trader wants . more
Good to hear this development. more
Mr Padam Law your suggestion is very ideal on papers only but it's totally unpractical in daily life. Yes we can complaint to Government authorities in this regard in masses but the complaints should be followed by regular follow ups and reminders to pressurise government to take action against such businessmen but we can't expect that a mass of people would stop to visit restaurants and other shops who are doing such things. Hence I think suggestions should have practical approach not hypothetical. more
