Advisory reg Smooth implementation

Attached please find notification regarding extension of implementation date to 31-03-2018 for using old packaging after PCR 2017 GSR 629 (E) dated June 23, 2017 goes into effect. Kindly note that the extension till March 31, 2018 is only for allowing usage of old packaging material and not for PCR 2017 amendement. Disclosure of MRP and best before date on eCommerce sites. Mandatory MRP on medical devices and other changes in PCR 2017 amendment must be complied upon effective Jan 1, 2018. more

The notification is business friendly and the period of extension given in the notification is justifiable. more

Let not be the meaning of MRP be changed. MRP shall be including all taxes. And old inventory shall be brought for new price . Many products costs fall below the old rates before GST. Make that clear in your circular. more
