Airtel partners sell your data

I want to safe guard each and every one here. Whether you get an airtel broadband connection, airtel mobile for yourself or your company, be doubly assured that all your documents are sold by airtel people.

As soon as we got our connection, we now get emails and sms from vodafone (employees), jio contractors and other middle men.

Airtel you are a pathetic company as far as data protection goes. No one should give you any document. Move to aadhaar or ROC validation, stop this data transfer through your partners who sell our information. more

This is a pathetic state of affairs, a reputed company like Bharathi Airtel stooping to such low standard is unacceptable, I request Mr. Vishal Khanna to address a letter to the TRAI and Minister of I & T for necessary probe. Message from Mr Vishal Khanna is really good for people like us, who do not know much! more
We must first take up this matter with Airtel management. After hearing from them ,we should take further action as we deem it appropriate. A copy of our letter to Airtel must be marked to Regulatory authority. P.N.Shali more
VERY BAD. THE AIRTEL MANAGEMENT SHOULD ENSURE THAT THE CUSTOMERS DATA WITH THEM IS SECURE. more
If it is true TRAI should sue the company. I have also airtel mobile connection and Nos of SMS also came but just ignore them. more
This is not just with Airtel. For example, you have to give all details for Insurance, bank account opening, mutual funds etc. Now these details are available with the agents or franchisees, hence we get calls from estate agents for sale of flats and plots, scamsters calling you and asking you details of debit and credit cards etc. more
It is really pathetic that Airtel and other tele providers are passing on the information to middlemen. more
