amazon billed for more the MRP marked

One e mail retailer wanted a feed back from me for a purchased product. My feed back was negative; pat came back a flash in my computer screen, thanks to IT, asking me whether I was willing to revise my feed back. When I said no they did not accept the feed back and abruptly closed the conversation. In one case amazon billed for more the MRP marked; their executive with whom I interacted on line conversation gave all sorts of explanations and excuses; when I countered each one of his excuses he closed the online conversation abruptly stating that the time was up. Then I took it up through e mail to their customer care; a lady executive responded promptly; as per her request I sent her a scan of the price label on the product, she promptly accepted and paid back the difference; the process with her took just 30 minutes including mu scanning and sending it to her more

Another dirty technique Amazon - and some other online shopping sites as well - indulges in, is to lower the price of the product but charge a fancy amount for delivery. Now, if you order three nos of the same item, your are charged THRICE for delivery. This is because they want to show up as the site which is offering the said item AT THE LOWEST PRICE !! Never mind that once you add delivery charges, you're at par with several other sites. Stupid psychological games !! They think the customer doesn't understand ?? Honesty and Marketing are anathema to each other :) more
All Indians must condemn the dastardly act of Amazon in trying to sell foot mats with the image of the Indian national flag. Moreover, this is not the first time it has behaved in such a rogue and unprincipled manner. Last time it was the image of Hindu goddess on flip-flops. Amazon will never learn unless it is kicked in its bottom. This the only way to bring them to their knees and rub their nose against the ground as we do when a dog pees on the carpet! I appeal to all citizens of India throughout the globe to abandon all purchases from Amazon for life. There is no shortage of decent, well -behaved parties in India. more
The Amazon must have out sourced the work local agency. Thanks for sharing this info.We will be careful. more
Regarding Amazon, let us all ensure that AMAZON immediately withdraws all the "Doormats with INDIAN FLAG" from sale in Australia and any part of the globe. Until then let us all boycott AMAZON. more
Certainly, these foreign companies cheat much more than Indian companies. Their sole aim - get as much money out of India as possible. They must be shunned. more
