AMC on Washing Machine IFB-IFB refuses refuses to

We bought a a washing machine model no- IFBWASHNDRY9N7 WITH 4 years Warranty on 25th Oct 2015. The authorised dealer at the time of purchase has promised to provide AMC on the product after expiry of Warranty on payment of a fee.
During October 2017 we received a call from the company to suggesting to enter into an AMC with company. When we approached their Service Centre at Trivandrum we were told the Company is not offering AMC for the above model. Repeated mails to the Customer Care of the company has not yielded any result.
Can any one in this Forum suggest how to proceed in this matter against IFB. more

I have a similar model IFB 9kg washer and 7 kg dryer. The local service personnel gave AMC and gave a receipt cum AMC document. Few weeks later, they called and asked me to return the AMC document stating that IFB is no longer giving AMC for this model. When asked for reason, they could not give me any reply. After sometime, IFB executive called me and said the same thing and could not give any reason. Therefore, I would like to know what action I need to take further under these circumstances. Pl guide. Please send a Regd. AD notice to the company and the dealer to honour their commitment given at the time of purchase to provide AMC if opted for after the warranty period of four years. Since the machine was purchased in 2015 you still have time. I learned from a car dealer that it is mandatory for them to carry spares for any model for a minimum number of years after release. There may be such mandatory clauses for washing machines etc. as well. Simultaneously kindly approach the Consumer Forum in your area or Consumer Grievance Machinery. There are some online grievance redressal consumer fora as well and I am sure that the company IFB may not like such a detrimental experience to be on display to all the public. All the best. If you have any operational/maintenance problem, write to the Co and also dealer from whom you have bought the machine. Give your complaint in writing. Repeat it thrice. If not responded and not repaired, immediately approach Consumer Redressal Forum with all the documents through your advocate and ask the compensation not only for machine replacement but also for mental harassment, agony etc. Let the MNC and/or dealer come to the Court. Keep patience and dare to be great. All the best. more  
AMC is no more a profitable venture for the business people, as the products change their model frequently and this is the reason why the company want only new sales. If you have the AMC coverage, please issue them a Registered notice and ask them to give service, failing which Consumer court is not far away. more
