Anti profiteering authority

Mr. BN Sharma has been appointed head of anti- profiteering body on gst. I request consumer affairs ministry to give him and this body access to this circle. If they pay attention they can resolve very many issues. more

The Private Property Developers are Taking an advantage of the G S Tax Before the GST - charges were 4.5% for service Tax and Excise, ST etc were in their account. Today all are merged and they r taking full value rather than the reduction in price of 7.5 % to charge full GST Please advice what steps to take more  
During our "anti-pollution holiday from Delhi" we spent the last ten days in various places in Rajasthan. Rajasthan is an attractive shopping centre, especially for textiles. To our horror, the salesmen there YET continue to give choices to customers viz. "if you want "pucca" receipt, you'll have to pay GST, no GST if you pay cash". The language was the same when VAT used to be levied. Folks, the viral is inside us. Unless we are prepared to cure it from within, no government shall be able to lift the country out of the mire we find ourselves in. The first step is for the government to make it mandatory for "every" business to issue e-receipt for each single transaction made, however small. No more "chit-sales"......unless, of course, it is for GST-free products. more  
MRP also had its undue profiteering from place to place. Pricing policy and GST shall not get diluted relaxing Returns more  
"Anti-Profiteering Body on GST" sounds like an exotic title..... Wonder what this Body will achieve !!! Please read my next post below. more  
Don't expect much from this exercise, this whole body will be a drain on the public exchequer like many other Govt. Dept. End of the day they will do nothing and extort some handsome cash and happily go home, consumers can go on endless circles & get nothing. more
