Anti Profiteering circle needed

I have seen how both Dominos and Mcdonalds are not passing full benefits to consumers despite rate reduction from 18% to 5%.

I urge administrators of this circle to start a seperate anti Profiteering circle now that cabinet has approved this body.

And just like feedback is taken by consumer ministry they should take feedback. Since money is anyways going to go to consumer welfare fund may be consumer ministry can take lead. more

Are we not excessively dependent on the government and its agencies to set everything right? I think it is our role now to effectively play against the ill motives of the traders and the hoteliers. Since such issues can't be handled individually, we, the consumers, should should come together and create collective pressures on all dishonest traders within the frameworks of the relative laws and force them to comply with the provisions made therein. I am optimistic of getting over whelming support and success in making the traders disciplined in this way. The only thing is to take lead by some selfless and energetic people and it will become a mass movement within no time and the traders in other sectors as well will automatically leave their sinister motives. more
May I know which hotel/restaurant has reduced the rates? Government officials and they are in league with each other. more
'Consumerism' promoted(s) organisations like Dominos and Mcdonald.... Their products/ services are not for the target market of 'common man'.... Globalization, Liberalization, Privatization and other such professional business management strategies are for the target market of around 15% to 20% indian population, who are 'RICH' and has PURCHASING CAPACITY.... Therefore, those who believe himself/ herself to be 'common man' can avoid such products/services..... more
Our new generation is addicted to these type of outlets. Until unless they think in this direction, it is very difficult to bycott them. However, we can think of an innovative idea like holding a placard outside such outlets in our neighbourhood, may be just for an hour in peak time, displaying that "Benefits of GST scaledown is not being passed on to you at this outlet", or some thing like that. When people can protest against film Padmavati or have candle marches for some good cause, then this also stands in a good cause category. more
boycott is the solution. results will be obtained when their pocket hurt. more
