Apollo Tyres is profiteering
Apollo Tyres also seems to be profiteering. Here see how Govt reduced gst rates from 28% to 18% on jan 1 but the price of retreaded tyre 1020 was 6500 in Dec 18 and continued to be 6500 in Jan 19. NAA please look into this and book them if found suitable. more

If the GST rate is lowered on a particular date,when the revised lower price should be implemented?If a shopkeeper has a stock bought earlier,should it be sold first and then after new stock arrived,revised lower GST should be implemented.Can any one clarify this? more

Madam GARIMA SHARMA...... Instead of doing research on those companies who are allegedly profiteering ..... why don't you do research on those Companies who are NOT PROFITEERING? That would really be of help to most people who are interested in buying something.... They would them know what to buy and from whom... more

gst is applicable for new tyres and from a technical point of view i would request one not to use them for passenger cars since wheel alignment is very hard to make and there are lot of people in the truck industry are using it since they are using it to save money more

For retreaded tyres, there is no MRP. In case you feel the price is higher than other brands, just do not buy it. You can complain if a company is charging GST from customers and not paying to the Govt. As I understand, the GST is applicable on the displayed price for such items and basic price is same in this case, therefore, the customers will end up paying less since GST is reduced now. Please check and make sure before complaining more
