Avoid HOMETOWN Retail outlets

I had purchased a KAFF Kitchen chimney on 17/Nov'18 through Bajaj Finance from a renowned retail outlet named HOMETOWN and I had been informed that expected delivery will happen on / before 26/Nov'18 but unfortunately it did not happened. After my endless follow up on the next day & raising the complaint with Consumer Forum, I had received an SMS from HOMETOWN & they have informed that it will be delivered by 6/Dec'18 since the product is out of stock. Now even on 6/Dec'18 i.e. yesterday it was not delivered & neither any one from HOMETOWN bothered even to inform the status, on today i.e. 7/Dec'18 I had called HOMETOWN in their Helpline number & come to know that they are them self unaware when this product will be delivered.

I had planned to purchase the Kitchen chimney post newly painting of my kitchen & as on date the purchase of the product did not solved my purpose as my kitchen is getting discolored due to oil & dirt. Since the kitchen chimney is not yet delivered & HOMETOWN is also unable to respond when it can be delivered, request any one of you who can guide me to take further steps in this regard.

Also request you all to stop shopping anything from HOMETOWN. more

It just happened to me and I did not get the delivery of the product that I had initially selected but had to change it. Apart from this, the prices are much higher than what you get in the market, except for certain well known products. more
