BIS enforcement failure
BIS says it has IS 13252 (Part 1) Standard that ensures the safety of mobile phones we use. No mobile phone can be manufactured or sold without certification from BIS to this Indian standard. Any contravention is a punishable offense and is also a safety risk.
In that case how is it that 14% people are getting phones not designed for Indian market. This is major failure on part of BIS. Action must be taken.

Why depend on the Govt./Courts etc when we have the potent weapon of boycotting such companies who do not believe in the rule of law laid down. If the Mahatma could drive out the British, why not experiment this with such companies? We need to make them realise the importance of abiding by the law. We need to establish that ethics has more power than money. more
