BIS make standards for apps
I have submitted several inputs to BIS via this circle and its time they start implementation.
There is an urgent need to make Indian safety standards for social media and ecommerce apps.
Will BIS please take this up or will you continue to focus on cashew, raisin and chilkis? more

This has to be done by Ministry of information and broadcasting and the commerce ministry jointly, Not BIS . more

BIS is basically a government organisation and they lack in innovative ideas. Local Circle can ventilate their views, which will be definitely taken up by the present government. more

I have been interacting with BIS from the organisation i was working since a long time for bringing in global stds with some modifications if necessary based on the inputs from the stake holders but they take a long time to address any issue and are lethargic basically which has been built over so many years similar to any govt dept unless there is accountabilty in any organisation to perform only then will the country prosper more
