Today's TOI - Delhi Edition carries a two page Ad of some Bhagwan - Birsa Munda. I guess he is some icon for the Jharkhand tribals as his image has bow and arrow. The Ad has picture of Jharkhand CM: Soren(Jr.) & President Draupadi Murmu & PM. These Ad's by Politicians is to try and win sympathies of the people of Jharkhand & not that they have any faith or belief in the God or God Men. more
Can't call it misleading. If you go to the see the ad, the disclosures are full. There is a QR code, the website, doctor's contact number, clinical trials details, science involved in the pathology, and then the ingredients too. The advertisement educates the reader about the physiological effects of pollution. There are several hyperlinks to various related health concerns and their respective natural remedies, scientifically detailed. Can't see anything wrong. more
First of all advertisement authority should clearly mention that any advt which misleads people without facts should be penalised and it should be high with even prison so that people will not be taken for a ride. more
This medication perhaps facilitates smooth breathing in people getting breathlessness and is approved by appropriate authority. The advertisement claiming entire Delhi will breath easy is hyperbole and is certainly an overstatement. But Delhi, not being a single unit for that purpose, it is also improper to exaggerate that it’s misleading Delhi. I feel that this isn’t a suitable case for penal action. more
