Both front and rear CAR tyres (at my driver side) , Apollo Tyres - had got side wall bulges

Hi Myself Mohan. Would like to get a solution for my CAR's problematic tyres (Apollo) that came along with my Baleno CAR. Recently, I have noticed side wall bulges/bubble on both the tyres at the driver side (both front & Rear Tyres). It happened when I had covered 750 KM distance stretch the small long trip. Apollo Tyres Service engineer told the side bulge issue might be caused due to the high impact of tyres with sharp potholes and it does not fall under manufacturer defect. So the claim will not be accepted. In his report, he mentioned that the tyres tread depleted only 18%. So almost ~82% of tyres tread is still usable. Indeed, my both tyres condition is very decent. 1Q) My foremost question to Apollo is only 18 % depleted tyre tread is very prone to have such kind of impact bulges what if the tyre's tread depleted more than 40- 50%? That means tyres would have been burst on such impacts and would have been a life threat to car riders. It is evident that we, consumers are risking our lives by relying on these Apollo Tyre manufacturer. Apollo should be answerable for these key safety issues. Either the Tyres that were provided originally in my car is having a manufacturing defect or Apollo is not following quality standards in the tyre manufacturing. Also, if Apollo finds the main issue is due to Indian road standards, then Apollo should have been opposed or recommended Maruti Nexa Baleno manufacturer not to use this kind of tyres 195/55 R16 in Baleno vehicles.

Its been more than 2 months, till now Apollo guys did n't solve this issue. They are not ready to give new tyres as a replacement.

I need to fight with them, please provide best way to escalte this issue.

Also, already raised this issue in below portals, but no use.

It is very old problem. The auto manufacturer absolves itself from warranty of parts used a OEM. Basically it is responsibility of Manufacturer to check the quality of OEM. Secondly, replacing new tyres with second quality tyres could be job of Agency. The vehicle manufacturer should and must give identification number of each OEM procured from other manufacturer on delivery challan and consumer should check at least those OEM which are visible like tyres, batteries etc. more
There is one TV channel CNBC AWAAZ in Hindi.A Programme called Pehreddar Please try to give details to them They will announce your problem and alert all customers to avoid Apollo Tyres, that will bring them to their knees. more
Consumer Court could be helpful to Mr Mohan Vanimina. Dr Mukul Luthra's suggestion to put tyre nos. on new care bills should be given due consideration. more
