Brands that care for consumer and ones who dont

Show care for your consumers is not that hard. It takes a little extra effort and mostly discipline and commitment to train employees on how to treat customers.

I want to share how 1 brand I will not go back to and I brand We are hooked to.

Starbucks - If one orders a coffee/hot beverage at starbucks in India and for whatever reason it gets cold (conversation u know), starbucks will not heat it up, plain and simple. Recently my hot coffee got cold and I begged them to heat, they wont. I had 2 options, waste the 200 rupees or drink it as cold coffee (strong ac) and I mean literally but starbucks and its employees wont care. I decided not again, not going to starbucks in India.

Club Mahindra on the other hand was opposite. 2-3 resorts I have been to, We got personal care and niceness. From the rstaurant and lobby manager to the musician at restaurant and the recreation manager, all gave personalised attention. If children wanted pasta, they got it specially made though it was not in buffet and many other small things. Club Mahindra gets it.

Hope more brands emulate Mahindra and not Statbucks more

Club Mahindra is not that great as has been made out. I understand that they send unsolicited invite for a get together and there ask the people to pay/join the club. more
Its plain IMHO...no restaurant (not even darshini) will take used (even partially) drink back in the kitchen for whatever reason to be served back again!!! more
I too agree with my learned friends above. Primarily, one must not have asked a coffee to be reheated. But as a customer, you had the right to have a fuming coffee. Starbucks, as I understand, would have happily replaced it with a hot one with a proper explanation. I wish those people will be more careful in future not to leave a customer aggrieved like this. more
Vinita Ji, the staff could have explained why they would not re-heat your coffee for you. They are bound by certain rules and that part is ok but to not explain the details to a consumer isn't quite right! more
Every company has a policy and reason to do / not to do and criticizing without knowing the reasons is not fair..One may go to Madras Cafe/ South Indian Coffee shop and have 10 cups of coffee..and relax..!! ( I am in no way connected/ related / convasing for M cafe..!!) more
Dear Fellow Countrymen, BE INDIAN BUY INDIAN!!!!
Lets help improve our country's and fellow countrymen's economy. more
