Brands to be beware off - pls share

So far, we have Nestle Maggi, all energy drinks, HDFC, ICICI. I also want to add Max hospitals, royal sundaram, e-meditek, based on my and family's experience. Can all members list the brands that they are unhappy with/cautious of given their past experience. more

Dishtv is one such brand. Their service is very poor. When complaint is given their technician visits. Whether the problem is solved or not we have to pay their fees. I could not get the channels even after 4 times of service more
if you list out the fraudulent here, space can't be sufficient. in every sector there plenty like this...even in mobile sector like micromax. they will not give warranty service even the mobile or tab or others have in warranty. they will tell so causes not to cover in warranty. In Hospitals the doctors are itself fraudulent. they are not running the hospitals with humanity, kindness they treat the patients with business mind set. Every sector is corrupted. more
Avoid Vodafone. Their customer care person talks like he is interacting with a Woman terrorist. My daughter got married into a family who were using Vodafone and I thought of number portability facility available so that the new bride does not feel the odd (wo)man out. It has been 15 days since verification has been done, the phone is stopped from making calls or messages etc.but Smart phone is using WiFi available through IPTV provided by Airtel.and problem of living in a joint family was explained to the team Airtel. Vodafone has been paid advance rent, why should they care now/ Airtel people released the number 15 days ago without any fuss as soon as the dues were cleared and that was it. Vodafone customer care has been asking for verification the size of plot of house she is married to,whether self owned or rented...something I as a mother Did not dare to ask!She received a message yesterday that phone will be functional from 25th June as Re verification needs to be done. All we can do is wait for heavenly forces to help us as we cannot revert back to Airtel before 90 days. If my writing here offends them, let it be, their questions and inquiries about identity of a qualified and employed woman was beyond belief. more
As Mr Rajesh had mentioned - Shika, there is no point in naming .....Almost every service provider operating in India tends to take the Indian customer for a ride....as they are very well aware that the Indian Laws have a number of loopholes...and can be easily exploited for " their escape " ....The same service provider when operating in a different country like USA would not " dare to ignore " similar customer grievance as the rules are different and the " persuit " of the legal system is totally different. I had a problem with my HP laptop and wanted to change the battery and I contact the local "authorised HP service center " over phone for assistance and the response I get from this " authorised center guy " is " Do you want to buy a New battery or a reconditioned battery "....????...Can HP get away with such a " service center " in USA...???.. more
they have force of lawyers so never afraid of breaking Law !!! more
