CABLE TV PRICE INCREASE BY GOVERNMENT

The government should not interferes/make money on cable TV & DTH TV system.
The previous free channels are mostly Door Darshan.
The previous free channel MUST remain free & TRAI should not force a citizen to pay for FREE channels.
END Viewer should not be made victim by the government by forcing the citizen to pay for Free channels.
By keeping free channel without charge the End viewers will save RS 151 per month & in one year the saving will be Rs. 1812 per year.
If the attitude of Government is to make money by force continues, , it will have serious implication during the election. more

New system will cost more money for me. Now I am enjoying 'n' numbers of channel with Rs.200/- a month. As per new system, it will cost more than Rs.250/- with hardly 30 no. of pay channel with FTA channel. So my suggestion is: 1. Capacity fee should reduce to Rs.75/- with 60 no. of FTA channel. 2. Mandatory Doordarshan channel to be reduced to 10 no. (as there are so many regional channel available which are not usable to all people) 3. If reduction of capacity fee is not possible, then option to be given to add 20 numbers of pay channel into the list of 100 channel. more
As per TRAI the charges have changed, but the service providers are not accepting the renewals as per new guidelines.. Why is it not in effect??. I have just now had to recharge my Tata Sky account with the old amount as they say they do not have the new guidelines for the new rates. This is blatant violations of government rules. Can any body tell me whether other services providers have changes over to the new guidelines?? HELP REQUEST FOLKS.. more
Sir,Itooam a Ivictim of this kind of loot and the apathy of service providers who are not ready to let go of their profits easilyvirangana mathur more
Charges proposed by government and satilite service providers is extremely high. Hence offer general package at any 3 languages at rs100/month. more
This is the main source of entertainment and public should not be financially over burdened.Time wasted for advertisement must be reduced substantially. more
As I heard minister's speech, the charges of all free channels can be charged just Rs. 10 or 15 (which I don't remember) in total and that will go to Operator . Nothing will go to Government treasury for these free channels. more
