Charging above MRP by e-commerce website

I purchased a cold- cough syrup named "Swasamrutham" from Amazon India on 18/11/2018 for rupees 262 but the MRP of the product is just rupees 230. Even the bill which I received is of Rs. 262. They are selling this syrup, which is a packaged product, above MRP which is illegal under Consumer goods act, 2006. I have a proper invoice of the product. What should I do? more

You can lodge a complaint with the anti-profiteering department forwarding a copy of the invoice as as documentary evidence. more

Yes, you are correct. The cost should not be more than the MRP and it should also show the GST % more
