Clueless Oil Ministry panel

India should ban the use of diesel-powered four-wheeler vehicles by 2027 and switch to electric and gas-fuelled vehicles in cities with more than a million people and polluted towns in order to cut emissions, an oil ministry panel is recommending.

These bozos dont think they needed to announce this in 2017 but in 2023 and if someone bought a diesel vehicle this year they will get 4 year life. I will take them to court and make them pay 6/10 of my car and registration value. more

While deciding, Kilometers run must be the criteria. We as a Senior Citizen, hardly run the Car, but we need it as other mode of transport does not suit us. In such case Senior Citizen Car Owner must be exempted from this rule. more  
Hydrogen based , ethanol based and hybrid vehicles are coming in commercial as well as 4 wheel segment , all this needs infra, investment , technology at a scale unimaginable in a country of 150 crores . it takes time more  
It is happening. 1.Manufaturing - no,15 years( take mileage,Engine condition, not use in covid etc.India gave green energy commitment. 2.Find good battery 3.Harmless charging 4.Long life.5.Less cost.6.Bikes use( no sound auto are becoming hazardous for lives) more  
What is the fun of banning BS 4 diesel vehicles when very old moped and scooter engines are being fitted in rickshaws and rehris in every city. Which authority certifies safety and pollution levels of such jugaad vehicles. Where is traffic police, PCBs and courts ? Are all laws are applicable to car owners only ? more
