Complain about extra billing and rude behaviour by employee

We were at a restaurent sam's pizza in raipur. We order 5 unlimited offer worth rs 270 each . We were supposed to get a bill of approx rs1500. But the bill we get was shocking as it was indicating a amount of rs 3092.
We contact to their seniors and try to negotiate about the same. But she put us in custody of bouncers for around 1 hours. After a lot of arguments we were forced to pay a bill of rs 2000. The behaviour by their employees was really unfortunate.
What legal steps can we take against the restaurent. more

You want to take legal action against them but hiding your identity. Why? more
I usually look down on complaints made by Anonymous members. Those who do not have the guts to come out in open indulge in such harakiri and they would just showcase one side without giving the complete picture and play the victim card. Going by the Rates given the Pizza for 5 @Rs.270 would amount to Rs.1,350 + GST 8% (67.50). Our Anonymous friend has not declared how many bottles of Coke they gulped down to wash down the Pizza's...I assume it as 5 bottles @Rs.50/- (minimum) which comes to Rs.250/-, amount would well be within Rs.2,000/- which is what they finally paid. more
There is a general complaint of the State or Station tourists who do not have any local support get raw deal by the locals in the belief that they are the lords and these tourist will not be able to harm you. And, it is not the case in the restaurant/eateries but also in other field of business where the 'foreign' tourists are given a shoddy deal. A long time back I was travelling to Udaipur in Rajasthan with my family, and went out of the hotel to have a dinner in a restaurant seeming decent middle class one. I ordered a plate of mutton keema. Will you believe, we were served a totally taw keema covered with bhunna hua masala. When complained to the manager, there was threatening behaviour though I could challenge him with my own resources there. But, the raw deal with the tourists is very much there. I would also like to share with you another experience: I went to Shirdi about 7-8 years ago and was returning to Mumbai by bus. I had done advance booking. I occupied my seat. The conductor came and took back ticket from me, and other passengers as well who informed that that this was the practice. I learnt that this way the bus owners saves the entire money on road tax. I complaint to the Maharashtra Transport Commissioner, and pursued for a long time but without any results. more
I am a Hotelier and I need to understand the case fully so that I can suggest you. 1. What was the offer? do you have a copy of the offer that you selected? 2. What does the copy of your bill says? have they billed you as per offer or different Items? 3. Was there any fine print on the offer that you ignored? 4. If they had bouncers why they did not collected Rs 3092/- and rather only Rs 2000/-? normally in a situation where bouncers are involved there is no bargaining. more
You had not made it clear why such a huge bill you had to pay? They had surely cited specific reasons. Otherwise how can thet kept you in custody of bouncers? It's acrime to hold customers for unreasoned payment. Once it's made clear, one can advise for further corrective measures. more
