Consumer exploitation by Reliance Jio Mart

"JIO MART's business model"

Ambani has come out with an excellent business model for his online delivery platform-Jio Mart. The items available are definitely at discount from market price. The customer places the order and compelled to pay in advance. He is assured delivery within 48 hours. Then will start the wait for at least a week. During this time, the customer's money is used by Jio to purchase items from the market for delivery to customer after a week. In lieu of the discounted price, the customer finds one or two items missing. The delivery boy will assure customer that the amount will be refunded in next 2 days. That's it. If the customer calls customer care and he is lucky enough to get his call answered, they will assure that the matter will be escalated to concerned team. His mail to customer care will not even be acknowledged. Same fate awaits him if he decides to tweet or post message on Facebook. They definitely are cold blooded traders!
(Based on experience. One may verify it by ordering through Jio Mart app at his own peril) more

Ways and means should be devised that the message of Mr Ram Singh reaches Reliance Jio Mart. May be their senior managers do not even know that such things are happening. more
Reliance Jio Mart is definitely adopting unfair tactics and TRAI is just a silent spectactor. Except Airtel, no service provider is in a position to challenge them. more
Yes they do. Go in for BSNL/MTNL services. Such organizations have no hidden agenda. The more you use BSNL/MTNL services the more efficient they will become. They are open to suggestions. It is after all BSNL which has helped villages by extending its service to the villages.. The private sector will cater only to areas where they can maximize its profit. They have many hidden costs. I am the user of MTNL/BSNL services for over 40 years and I have no problem. I use BSNL FTTH Broad Band services and it working excellently with good download and upload speeds. BSNL has been attending to complaints very promptly. more
Dear Ram Singh. I wish I had read your comment earlier. I have ordered fruits etc on Jio Mart and as you say, the wait has begun. today is third day and still no news. more
