Costly Health Care

In recent times finding many articles on exorbitant cost involved in Health care for individuals. It is stated in these articles how Private / corporate hospitals are charging high rates by recommending for unnecessary tests, surgeries, medicines etc., due to their tie up with concerned. Here my question is why people are preferring corporate or private hospital to Govt. Hospitals. I think the following are the reasons:
1. Lack of facilities even for patients (Patients are to sleep by sharing bed or on floor)
2. Lack of ameneties
3. Lack of Equipment
4. Lack of confidence in the hospital itself.
The above points came to my mind after seeing series of articles and comments in papers.
Recently ( I think on 29.12.2017), BJP MP - Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi stated that private hospitals are to controlled. But no clues how and why.
My point here is when People to preferring private hospitals to Govt. Hospitals, what are the steps taken by Govt. to make them to come to Govt. Hospitals.
People are opting for private hospitals even though the fees are high, why.
Further, while commentnig that private hospitals are charging high, are we taking into consideration of cost of medical education now a days, especially in AP & Telangana. The UG and PG Medical education in Private Medical colleges in these states, can be possible for highly affluent sections to shell out crores of rupees. No ordinary student inspite of merit cannot afford study here. When a student has to cough amount in crores for Under Graduation and Post Graduation in Private Medical Colleges, how can we expect service oriented mind set from them. High investment on Education and Hospitals, I believe forcing them to charge high though they may have some humane touch inside.
Let the Govt. make Medical Education affordable in Private Medical colleges also and then control. more

Apart from Hospitals, another sector also requires control is - educational institutions, who are exploiting the parents in the name of fees and developmental charges. These sectors are within the attention of the government, but they are getting hefty financial support at the time of election. more
What Mr Sitaram said about exorbitantly high cost of medical study in private medical colleges is true. It would be too much to expect from a person spending crores of rupees to become a doctor to serve the society selflessly with some exceptions. But what about those who become doctors from government medical colleges almost free of cost? Moreover, paying high price for medical study does not mean that one should resort to immoral practices to recover his investment. Neither it could be appreciated nor accepted and the society should continue to denounce such people at all cost. more
