25 litre crompton geyser was priced at MRP 11000 earlier in year. Then Govt reduced GST rate on geysers from 28% to 18%. Even today on. 26/10 the geyser is priced at MRP 11000.
So no benefit being shared by Crompton and its seller Galaxy shopee with consumers. more

What was the price of the product prior to implementation of GST? Moreover, MRPs shown on electrical items are all bogus and are always shown on higher side than their actual selling prices. You can get it verified from any retailer's shop. Hence, it makes little difference as to whether or not reduced MRPs shown on these products after reduction in Tax rates. more

great work and lot of companies are taking the gullible customers for a ride since many of them may not be asking for the price before the gst reduction and what is it at present. more

Please ensure the date of manufacturing is after the revision O GST so that the benefit is passed on to the customer. more

Crompton is squarely responsible for the MRP mentioned on their products, which has to be seen vis-a-vis the Date of Manufacturing & the date on which GST was reduced. If MRP of a product, manufactured on/ after the date of revision of GST, has not been revised, the manufacturer needs to be penalized. In other cases, the on-line traders are profiteering by not reducing the MRP. This is my opinion, which needs to be evaluated by legal experts. more
