Defective products status should be disclosed

Recently my daughter in law ordered some product on Myntra. What their sellers do at times is list some products that is reject material. The seller buys it 70-80% discount from factory and it has some minor scratches. sells on ecommerce for 50% off but doesnt disclose defect. People receive it after 9-10 days and just because they needed it, end up keeping it.

Defect status of product must be disclosed mandatorily. Please take this up local circle and dept of consumer affairs. more

These days very young generation are addicted to Online/e-Commerce shopping, these E-commerce companies take advantage of such opportunity. When You a visit a shop: 1. You can feel the product's quality, check with the replacement of refund process etc, No of days for replacement and refund. All these takes hell lot of time in E COMMERCE. more
Yes,otherwise it should be construed as an offence. more
Discounted products cannot be compared with prime products. There bound to be some deficiencies or may be a non moving for some time and that they want to clear the stock. more
Yes, otherwise it should be treated as fake sale. more
Manufacturers once used to sell annually or at times Quality rejects as seconds in cities toliquidate their products which are slightly inferior to quality standards. But now even minor defects are passed for sale. some products with visible or functionally inferior are being pushed to the seller at discounted ( heavily) to the market. It is here with our anxiety to save some money end up by buying defective material. Theis can be stopped only if the manufacturer brands them as defective but could be used to advantage as original one and noting a discounted price on it. more
