DGCA must ground 737 Max

There is no clarity on why two accidents happened back to back with same model of aircraft. Both had similar circumstances... during take off which seemed like vertical stall. Why is that DGCA is waiting for review of Blackbox before deciding to ground planes. When there is no clarity they must err on side of caution and give preference to safety. China and Indonesia made correct call in grounding before review. We can’t compare what’s USA is doing. They may have different maintenance team, training and schedules with such huge fleet. Take cautious route and ground planes . more

It is terrifying that our government is always lethargic in taking prompt action at least in the matters involving life risk of thousands of our common people. Will the government machinery awake and initiate necessary action on the issue now! more
I understand that SPICEJET uses maximum number of 737 MAX. I have booked a flight for 27th March 2019. They say they are not using 737 Max but 737. Are both the planes different. The amount paid is huge and refund is paltry. How do they manage all the flights without the 737 max is a mystery! I hope and pray the DGCA is really strict. more
DGCA has not only grounded all 737 Max with all airlines in India, it has also prohibited overflying of these planes. The problem seems to be with the OS and AOA sensors bringing the plane to a vertical stall. Both disasters are in similar circumstances, within a few minutes after take off. In both cases the captains had more than 100 hours of flying experience. Yet, they were unable to handle the plane to safety. Boeing seems to have installed a new OS without adequate flight trials and maintenance procedure instructions. Boeing must take the blame squarely upon themselves and must compensate all airlines and families of victims of both disasters. Severe strictures must be put on Boeing for ignoring passenger safety over cost and economy. more
In view of the frequent accidentds, the safety of the passenger must be taken care. more
Aviation industry is one of the Industry , taking the highest level of safety checks. There are procedures to adhere when such incidents are reported. So Industry will take action to identify the root cause and will ensure remedial action. more
