direct tax collection-2nd quarter of this financial year

a recent report says that the direct tax collection for the 2nd quarter of this financial year has increased by 22% on a y-on-y basis.this is a clear indication of the increased profits of the corporate sector.while one is not grudging the same, yet the corporate sector can give a thought to the average indian who is reeling under various price increases, inflationary trends, income deficiency, unemployment, etc.if the corporate sector can reduce prices and make it more affordable to the average consumer this will be of great help and also reduce the inflationary pressures.in turn the RBI may be tempted to maintain rates which will also help the average indian in terms of various loan repayments etc. more

Govt. had made it a simple way to target common people to impose tax in various ways. Corporate tax hardly shows a big jump rather PSUs are paying more taxes that Corporate. Recent publication shows it clearly. Corporates are still enjoying a big shelter in this regime. Today middle class is the worst sufferer and common people find no way to have a relief. more
Presently Central Govt is SQEEZING the Tax Payers to its OPTIMUM. With the result Middle Class are the biggest Sufferer. Even Non Pensioner Senior Citizens are also biggest sufferer, because of Falling Interest Rates and Sky ROCKETING INFLATION and increasing Medical Expenses. more
The increased Taxes most surely have come from the additional burden of some or other tax which has been collected. MSME's are having a tough time controlling prices of the product as also give the quality desired. Government machinery still runs on lubrication of bribes. These dent the profits of entrepreneurs and hence even the yearly increment for them is a big headache as also heartache for them as also employees. more
Common people are those who do not get freebies and are left to fend for themselves. See the condition of MSMEs employees who get a salary of Rs.15000-25000 pm with no DA or medical reimbursement at actual or children study allowance. more
It is the money from the much abused corporates which has given employment to millions of Indians and thereby so many more of their family members. It is this tax which gave us free covid vaccines, free ration for nearly 75 crore Indians during the corona period. I do not understand this kind of negative sentiments about the corporates. more
