THE ALTERING OF MRP TAG IS ONLY A MINOR FAULT WITH THE E,COMMERCE COMPANIES,ALTHOUGH SERIOUS ENOUGH.NOWADAYS OT OS COMMON PRACTISE TO SEND POOR QUALITY AND REJECTED STUFF THROUGH THEE CHANNELS.WHEN COMPLAINED,THEY WANT A PHOT OF THE POOR MATERIAL SENT TO THEM,EVEN THOUGH MOST OF THE CUSTOMERS DONOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO DO IT.FLIPKART'S SELLERS,SEND REJACTED AND POOR QUALITY MATERIAL,AND WHEN CONFRONTED THEY SAY THAT THE MATERIAL SHOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER ALL YOU Cannot return a thing without installing and checking it?in this way e.commerce has become a fraud in itself,and the govt does nothing to save the custommer.i wrote a detailed note to the cinsumers affair ministry;and all they did was to send it to the seller,who argued any length over the phone. more
Complaints against the eCommerce companies are increasing day by day but their every day growth remains unaffected because despite such huge complaints, we are unable to control ourselves from the greed of saving a few bucks by marketing through these companies and going on complaining thereafter. It is better to go a local dealer, see and verify the items by yourself, get fully satisfied with the quality and prices and take a final decision. On backing home, get the price verified with the ones coated by the eCommerce companies and find that there is not at all any significant difference between these two prices. more
Similar issue happened with us also. we procured a blue tooth speaker - JBL brand Rediff ..there was good discount offered on web site. when we received the speaker, it was of spurious quality. as usual they asked us several information with photos which we provided but even after 3 weeks, they did not send anyone to pick it and now sent the mail that free time is over ??? can anyone suggest where to lodge the complaint for such issues ? more
I totally agree with your point. I got cheated twice. One occasion it was deodorant. The item was sub standard . When complaint, the item was supplied by Delhi dealer and the contact no was that of the company at Hyderabad. They never attended my call. In the second occasion it was power bank. The item was broken. When I lodged the complaint ,they asked me to take the photograph and send back the item under my arrangement. that was also done . So finally I lost Rs 900/- as cost of the item and the courier charges for sending it back. I am yet to hear from both the suppliers .i sent many mail to them but no response. more
