Essential Availability situation and list

Really appreciate localcircles putting out these updates on essential goods availability. Some improvement seems to be happening but more needs to be done.

I have received this list of what GOI calls essentials. Can someone confirm if this is the one to be referred when participating in surveys?? more

The list referred to does not define the listed items as assentials but as food products, that too as examples making provisions for adding more items. As far as assentials are concerned, the items should be kept at barrest minimum only to those items which are assentials in real sense during a crucial period the nation is passing through. more
PREVENTIONS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTS AGAINST COVID-19...DO FIVE HABITS AT LEAST TO STOP CORONAVIRUS NO-19 .1 WASH HANDS OFTEN.2. ELBOW COUGH INTO IT IF NO MASK OR NAPKINS OR HANDKERCHIEF IS NOT AVAILABLE WITH YOU.... BETTER TRY TO USE NAPKINS/HANDKERCHIEF & DESTROY IT IMMEDIATELY, 3. DO NOT TOUCH YOU FACE AS PER AS POSSIBLE.4.MOST IMPORTANT TO KEEP SAFE DISTANCE.....5.FINALLY WITHOUT GOING OUTSIDE STAY HOME & IT IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT AS PER MY VIEW. more
Supply chain of essential goods can be eased up if there is a clear cut direction across the police department to allow movement of essential commodities. They also need to facilitate personnel who are associated with providing essential services and part of Supply chain of such products. All state governments should issue such passes/permits online, this would ease up supply constraints and ensure availability and adherence to social distancing. more

Grocery, fruit and veg, dairy products and essential items are generally available, however the prices of fruits and veg have soared. Govt efforts is highly appreciable but difficult to change the mind set of money mongers/ opportunists. more
