I had raised the issue of food coming from ecommerce website with little life remaining. I think the fssai committed to resolving the issue. Atleast 50-60% shelf life of food should be remaining if it is being listed in ecommerce sites and full diclosure of expiry should be there. Whats the current status on this? more
Every Edible products whether sent by e-commerce or sold in the shops/departmental shops must invariably bear clearly the Expiry date if of such Food articles. The Govt.of India must penalise those who default in this regard with Rs,10,000/-with one year R.I. Then only the manufacturers will clearly indicate this on the container they send for sale or sent through e.commerce. more
