Fortis Hospitals

Fortis Hospitals are literally making a fool of their customers on vaccination front. Here is how:
1) Doctors demand that they see the child every time before a vaccine is given (even if its the week after)
2) Charge consultation fee every time
3) Only write specific vaccines where they have high commission and the pharmacy of fortis has high margin
4) Patients end up buying those vaccines at very expensive prices and get them from fortis pharmacy
Will the health department wake up and do something like standardize vaccines and prices. more

Shikha ji - this is happening in most private hospitals more
Mr.Rmachqandran Nair , you must know what thw ward boys , nurses of Government hospitals collect from the patients first. Next inspite of collecting how they treat the patients . Only when one comes to Christian Medical ClollegE [C.M.C] , Vellore, Tamilnadu will know why so many from Bangal, Orissa , U.P . come for treatment here. They have said despite the travel cost, stay [for family ] and treatment , dagnostic charges it is cheaper by half. More than that the C.M.C. staff attend to the patents sincerely. This is a point that should feaure in the Hospital management and treatment styles and cost structures. more
why do not you change the hospital ? is it the only hospital in your place. If you have any complaint , please complaint to director of Medical science. more
This is very common practice. These hospitals are white elephant and they want to recover their investment. Doctors are under pressure to follow the policy of hospital management to fleece patients. If they do not follow they are shown the door. So it is better to go to your family physician for normal vaccine or minor ailment. more
Why the people do not choose Government run hospitals and go to private, profit earning, monsters, devils, and whatever you want to call. A doctor who paid Rs.One crore to get a PG admission wants to get it back. Be it Amabani or Vemula. more
