Fuel prices will increase by 10% post elections

As the Iran special pricing comes to an end soon and the Govt has been holding back on price increase due to elections. Higher fuel means inflation will rise. We must prepare now and Govt must ensure GST benefits atleast are being passed properly by all companies to consumers more

Why not both center and states implement GST on all type of fuels? This is the demand of practically all citizens. This will reduce expenditure on all type of transport including cargo. more
Since crude prices in international markets are beyond the control of the government,it should actively reconsider the taxing pattern of the product so that some relief could be offered to the common man as well as inflation could be kept under control. more
Are the people of our country dreaming that the majority party winning will reduce the fuel prices? No chance. The present government has implemented that fuel prices will be changing on daily basis. Now the new government will adopt a new strategy - Fuel prices will be determined on hourly basis. Useless government and it is unfortunate that the people of the country are voting to bring back the same gang who have made life miserable in the country. more
While trying to dictate as how the Government should work so far as the pricing of petroleum products is concerned, I wish all the critics need to give an alternate solution and not simply suggesting as how they need to pay less. One, before commenting on the subject, requires to know a bit of economics and keep in mind the larger interests of nation. Just, if we imagine that while preparing our domestic budget, if we are encountered with some unexpected expenditure, how we deal with the situation. If we are going to attend marriages of our relatives or and friends, we never say that we shall not attend for the reasons of money / gifts to be given to the hosts. So we try to reduce or postpone some other expenditures. So one has go change ones perception. more
If my budget for fuel is fix, I Will and have to manage with this budget only. Similarly government should fix budget for fuel and import within this budget. more
