Indian Domestic Manufacture do not care the end using costumers,they quite bother about dealer and distributes.For this type attitude outside manufacture spread their business in India and domestic manufacture Hindustan Motor, HMT once they were leader in India now gone out from market. The next company following same policy is Godrej . For one complain noise in refrigerator compressor the service engineer suggest you change home from clam area to market area problem will solve. I feel GODREJ is the next company towards reject. more
Godrej is not alone. Every single consumer product which enjoyed protection until the markets opened up over the past few decades is facing this problem. Premier motors, Hindustan motors, Aquaguard, Godrej, Voltas, the list goes on and on. People say Chinese products are inferior. It is only because India cannot produce most consumer products of a quality comparable to Chinese at the same price point due to various factors. Just compare the finish of a Xiaomi phone made in India to one made in China. Now we have choices and better products in the market. Manufacturers with the old mindset will have to move up to international standards to survive, else they will perish. It is good to live in an open, market driven world. more

I suggest you should write a letter direct to Mr Godrej, then it may have some proper attention. Quite some years ago I had a problem with a Godrej refrigerator. The local sales office made only some excuses. Then I wrote to Mr Godrej by name direct by regd.ack due. Within a few days some people from godrej came to my residence and rectified the fault. more
Basically this is the fault of Mr. Adi Godrej. First of all, why the hell his HRA is recruiting such scranundrals? EVRY RECRUITMENT SHOULD STRICTLY BE BASED ON MERITS and not stinking caste/creed, etc.,etc. which has cancerous effects. If you have identified ROTTEN personnel in your organization then kick them out. Let them starve to death. more
Service engineer is really very smart & making the customer fool, once you move from a calm place to any market place, noise will appear to be less apparently but truly no. Usually faulty Compressor creates such noise pollution. I had experienced similar problem in Voltas refrigerator in 1986 when it was launched. It took lot of time to settle. In such noise pollution, if compressor is in order, then see the electricity supply carefully or use a high power stabiliser though manufacturers never suggest. more
