The one reaction to all this that comes to my mind is "satyagraha". People, how about surmounting the wish to visit a restaurant or a bar for a month.......in bulk, I mean, not individually. And, the time for that is opportune. According to Hindu calendar, the months of September and October (Asadh and Kartik) are meant for eating less. Navratras and Lent and also Ramadan are said to fall within this period. It's a natural way of detoxifying your body. How about killing two birds with one shot...? Think about it, this is serious. Recall that one young man who just by means of satyagraha won us independence from British subjugation of several centuries..... more
