I FILED MY RETURNS ON 18TH DEC. THE TDS WAS MORE THAN THE ACTUAL TAX BY RS. 6590. ON 21ST DEC. (WITHIN 3 DAYS) I.TAX DEPT HAS PROMPTLY CREDITED 6590 TO MY A/C more

Gaps still exist for response to complaints. Internal processes need interfacing with users, for example refunds, or redressing grievances. Still work in progress. Like the 2 choices of 25% flat or 30% with exemptions as the highest taxable income bracket, old portal could have been retained giving some choice for filing tax return. more

Same is the case with me as I submitted ITR a month ago but still receive either the order nor the refund. That's the case with many of my friends. Further, this portal is not at all user friendly. FM is talking about simplification and rationalisation but it is not the case in actual situation. Again every citizen must be made to contribute to exchequer in whatever quantum. more
